Good nutrition, hill work and (if he's ridden) teaching mild collection all will help.
Various stretches help the muscles and blood flow.
But it's not an easy, nor a quick battle.

Lots of threads here about "topline"

It's about correct riding, so if you are the cause of the current lack of correct riding, then it's a *really* good idea to find someone who can help you there. Otherwise, no amount of "do this exercise, do that, do hills, do circles" will help, because they won't be done correctly.

That's not an insult to you - please don't take it that way

There is also proper nutrition, correct saddle fit, well-balanced, feet, it's the whole package that goes into creating good muscling.

i apprciate the advice! right now my tbs diet is:

pellet vitamine supplement, powder biaton(sp?) hoof supp, and 1/2 cup of rice bran oil.

I honestly feel he should be getting more, there isnt a pinpoint reason why i feel this way. Just in my mind i feel hes missing somethings in his diet. He seems to be doing excelent with his deit! he dosnt need any more calories, but probably needs more healthy fats, all around nutrition. ( i think you know where im going with this)

with that being said, hes out most the time, and gets fed both grass and alfalpha hay. his weight looks good, wouldnt hurt for him to lose a couple pounds

ive asked about his deit before but now im lost. And i just want him to get every part of the right nutrition.
