Too Fat???

Okay my little pony mare now has a 2 month old foal at her side. I haven't changed her diet at all since she foaled, but yesterday I was told she's too fat, way too fat... What do you all think? Is she too fat or just a little or okay for a lactating mare?

Here's what she gets for the day (she's fed 3 times):
4 flakes of hay
two scoops of grain mix (vitality mare and foal mixed with stratedgy mare and foal)
1/4 scoop of BOSS
1 tbsp of Kelp ( a large pinch lol)
(Sorry I don't have a scale and we just use the scoop so no cups either).

And here are a couple of poor shots of her. Getting a pic of her without Jacob getting in the way is almost impossible lol.

I don't think she's too fat at all, yes her 'abs' aren't tight, but I can assure mine weren't either when either of my daughters were only 2 months old.

Thanks folks. I don't think she's too fat, maybe a little but not way fat like I was told.

I'd rather have a slightly fat broodmare with a foal at her side, then a too skinny one anyday.

that's right. chuncky horses can fight off diseases better than skinny ones. and it's fun to ride them bareback.

From the pictures she doesnt look too fat (no apparent fat deposits over neck, withers, or tail head) but that doesnt necissarily mean she isn't too fat...can you feel her ribs. You should be able to easily feel them but not see them.
