What do YOU guys see? I thought frame + Tobiano? Mom looks like she carries the sabino gene..... |

I am trying to explain to this lady (and other people) that hes a tovero. 1. reason being his face isn't "solid"...so came here for a more educated answer lol! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | He's obviously got the tobiano gene... As for the overo - his face is proof that he has an overo gene. A true tobiano has no white on it's face. Also, the marking on his right hind has jagged edges to it which is also an indicator of overo. |

His face is VERY much Splash. Sabino could be hiding in there, no way to tell unless he actually tested for SB1. Mom looks to be Tobiano + Splash (all that white under her jaw) + Sabino (the ticking), and it wouldn't surprise me if she tested for Frame as well. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Tobiano + splash for CERTAIN and possibly sabino. The one sided head is sooooo very splash. This foal qualifies as tovero in EVERY sense of the word (APHA and genetically, which is rare). ACC |
