Post Tip for Dirty Winter Blankets

My mare is a PIG in the stall. When she is blanketed for show season and winter I always am washing my winter blanket cause it is so disgusting. SO what I do from now on... I put her winter blanket on first, then Put a slightly bigger Horse sheet on top, then when she lays down, she get the sheet dirty and I only have to pull that off and wash it during the month instead of the big winter one. My sheet fits better in my washer than my winter one. I have to send that away for a few days to the laundry mat.

Just a tip if anyone wants to use it!!!

Funny story, I took my mare last year, before the EPM down to the trainer, I had her blankets "switched" like I said before, instead of the sheet under the big heavy blanket I had it over. He was like... OK didn't say anything to me and then I called asked how she was doing, said next trip down I will bring another sheet to swap the other one.. he goes. Well now I know WHY you switched those and put the sheet on top. He goes.... she is a PIG!! He goes, we already had to wash the winter blanket and we washed the sheet too, now I know why you flipped those!!! SO he left hers the same way from then on! It was pretty funny. He admitted he thought that was wierd that I had them flipped until he saw her in her stall!!
