This one guy...

Okay kill me. So I've been to a lot of shows for the past two years, lets say maybe 30-40 shows. Actually 3 years ago my grandparents good me and my 2 friends to a Paint Horse show at the fairgrounds. Us three were sitting at the bottom row and watching the MPHC Youth WT and there was this guy that passed by us and he smiled at me. So I've kept him in my head for a year and I saw him again at a county 4H show and again...he kept looking at me. Well this year at the State 4H Show me and my friend, Emma were walking around after I made my runs in the speed events and we came acrossed a lady who was holding two Miniature ponies! We went up to her and were aweing and stuff like that and we went into conversations. I wasnt paying attention, but there was this guy..who looked familiar, coming our way with his (beautiful), black horse. Well actually you can say he was going up to the lady who we were talking to, who is his MOM. So yeah, we talked to the guy I likeds mom. It seems awkward. And again when he took one of the mini's, Spicy, he was always looking at me. And again, not my friend.
Im going to another Paint Horse show Sunday, and of course he always goes to them. But he's not the only reason I want to go though. I've never talked to him before or anything, just his mom. And I know his first and last name and Im pretty sure he know's my name too. But if I see him again what should I do and say??
Please help!

ok don't freak out i know its scary but just act normal!!! try to breatheeee. don't worry about what he thinks about you (even if you really do). if you do have a chance to talk to him talk about horses!! i don't know about you but if i can talk about horses i dont care who i'm talking to!!

so don't stress over it and just smile and be nice!!! hahha good luck!!

I just smile and say "Hey" casually as I walk by.

That way they know that you notice them. And then next time you run into him, you can ask him about something he is doing. If he's with a horse, ask its' name.

I gotta agree here

Its a horse show, there's a topic right there waiting for you. Hehe. Just ask his horse's name, or if he has a ribbon or you saw a class of his congratulate him on it or something. Chances are he'll ask about your horse or how you did etc, and then you'll have a conversation going in no time at all

Try not to stress too much about it

Introduce yourself to him, make small talk at first (compliment him on his horse, etc...) and if you're comfortable with it, I'd shoot for maybe hitting the warm-up ring with him if your schedules coincide!

Okay thanks! Well today I saw him, fortunatly and unfortunatly I didn't get to this post in time! But I was heading to the arena and (haha) he was in his english stuff and I walked by him and he was the first to smile this time. I guess I'll have to wait until next year to talk to him since there's not any more show's that we'll both be going to..
