That was my thought too. Perhaps instead of getting made she should think about why every one is going to other barns.

I'll admit, I only followed this thread to page five before deciding to post my own answer, so I don't know what else has been said.

But my serious opinion? This woman is robbing you. That is absolutely insane.

For one, any trainer you hire, I don't care what for, should sit down and give you a price estimate, if nothing more before anything happens. It shouldn't be up to you to have to guess what it'll cost.

My second biggest concern is the motel fee. If there were four of you in one room, and the fee was split, how the heck did you get charged $150?! That would have to be a $600 MOTEL!

And lastly, the fact that she is charging you for things that SHE chose to do, such as the supplements... bogus. If I have a horse in training and I feel like he needs something else in his feed... I discuss it with the owner. In the end, its their choice!

Like I said, I don't know what your opinion is after eleven pages, but on page four, you said "If you guys aren't worried, neither am I." I'D BE WORRIED. Anyone who throws in charges for services THEY chose, needs to be off of your contact list NOW.

Look for a new trainer.
