I hope you can get the whole feeding thing sorted out. Lots of people have provided you with web sites on mare care. Looks like you need to start slowly feeding a high protein feed to insure proper growth and nutrition for the mare and foal. Have you decided yet?

You posted on another thread about your horse being all hot and sweaty. Sounds like she may be out of shape. Conditioning takes time. Riding her that hard while pregnant might not be such a good idea. Keep your riding time short and low key. Not running, just a lot of walking. If she does get hot, like how you described, make sure she is walked until she is no longer breathing hard and feels cool.
