This is funny.

One of my horsie friends has a Quarter Horse mare who is stabled down the street from me. So yesterday, she and I were talking about the show coming up, and she asked me how to thin her mane. (It's about 6-8 inches long) So I told her that I liked to use a metal comb, wrap a part of the mane around it, pull, and it would shorten and thin at the same time. So, she left to go riding, and I went inside.

An hour latter, she came back, and said she had a "fashion emergency" on her hands. So, I followed her outside, and low and behold, the mare was in my front yard, with a wacked out mane. She tried to thin it with scizors. As well as the tail. Now, the tail is about 8 inches shorter, and all different lengths.

So, the point of my story is to never play with scizzors.

Whoa, bad mistake...lol! I learned the scissor/mane lesson the hard way when I was little. Hopefully it will be fixable.

Yes, me too. Part of the mane was at about 3 inches, which is good. And the rest was 1-7 inches. The tail is beyond hope. I cant believe she did that. It was so long and pretty, and now it's short and choppy.
