Awesome step-by-step!

Were you your own photograher? It looks tough to take pictures and get such great results at the same time!

yeah I had to do it bit by bit--do some take a pic, do a little more, take a pic, it was a time consuming process but turned out good I think

I think too! Very helpful for those who don't know who to do it. It is nice of you to take the time.

Haltergirl you are AWESOME!! THANK YOU!!! Those photos are excellent and the final product is simply gorgeous! Your braids are stunning too - it never occured to me to braid the mane like that just to get it to lay down. I'm going to do Griffins this weekend, so I'll post pics when I get it finished. Tho there is no way I can braid it in -25 degrees, so I'll just do the part with the shears .

Wow haltergirl that is AUSOME!! Thanks so much, I think that has to be the best demonstration of using thinning sheers I have ever seen!!! Lol I'll think twice next time rather than spending and hour and a half pulling I can just use sheers!! lol

Hay thanks for the great tips, I find pulling manes quite time comsuming, could you do this instead of pulling or is this just strictly for thinning? I did see in the before and aft pics that the mane is shorter but one of my horses manes is quite thin(but not too thin) would thinning shears be ok?Thanks in advance!!!
