Question Things I can do with my horse??

Ok so my horse BlackJack has some hoof props, so i won't be able to ride him for a couple of weeks. So i was wondering is there any kinda games we can play?

I'm already teaching him tricks like kissing and bowing and stuff, so other then tricks?

I agree with that. Do some ground work. What's wrong with his foot? If it hurts him when he walks and stuff, then I'd just brush him and let him be a pasture horse for the time being. But if it doesn't hurt him, do anything you want!(except riding, that is)

Well when Rezzi was hurt I would do work on ground work, let her graze for hours, do carrot stretches, and bug the heck out of her

Do some ground work, if your horse is sound for that, and groom him to the nines!

When my frineds horse was lame we would take turns grooming. One day we actully went out, bought glittery pink and green hoof paint, braiding bands, washable markers, some polo wraps, and some random silk cloth. We drew all over her pony with the markers, wraped her legs with the polo wraps, and threw the skilk over her back. We took her out to the pasture with the lake and me and my frined ran around the the pasture and the pony eventully troted up to us and played. I think it was prolly more fun for us than the horse.

Teach him these things.

Then when you're done with these you can teach him to fetch and sit and smile and load without a halter and nod yes and no - by then maybe his hoof will have healed

Hope he's feeling better soon.
