thick forelock

when i get ready top braid for a show, the only problem i have is my horses forlock is relle thick. and lke when i braid it, it looks relle big...

any sugestions???

and are u supossed to french braid the forlock or just braid it normally???

for dressage show...

I just do a frenchbraid/plait. Basically I put it in a tiny frenchbraid and roll it up like a plait and then band it down to their head lol.

My mare also had a really thick forelock, I just clipped up further on her bridal path, I cut it to just between the ears, took off the thickness but left the length *shes got the pretty one that goes over one eye, past about 2-3 inches*
