The PATTERN!

HEHEHE. Got brave today and BORED out of my mind. We had the jumps out at my friends house. SOOOO, we added barrels. ROFLMAO. So was everyone else...LAUGHING at first as we set up the jumps between barrels in the pattern.

I'll tell you now, it was the BEST and CLEANEST pattern my horse EVER RAN! Slow loped really, but man he rated perfectly when I asked him to.

Basically the pattern went like this: Barrel......Jump......Barrel....Jump......Barrel.. ...RUN FOR HOME.

He nailed EVERY lead I asked him for. It was like a WHOLE NEW HORSE!!!

Course we were also running in an English saddle....so yes, we kept it slow, but the attention span that we all had on our horses (3 of us) was amazing!! We ran a HUGE pattern, but hey, our horses were listening, nailing the pockets, and just awesome! Might do it again tomorrow.......

SOOOO< those that do both english and western, and want to get BRAVE, it is definitly DIFFERENT!!!!

The hardest part was trying to set the jumps up to not interfere with the run back. Reason for BIG PATTERN. But it worked.

Now I can officially say, my horse is a Jumping Barrel Racer!! ROFLMAO

You are going to keep this up and eventually have an Olympic event named after you

It was bad enought when you jupmcrashed barrels while team penning.
Now you are running barrels and jumping. I guess it is more of an Jumping event since you were in a English saddle

Not so fast there young lady.
You ran barrels on a gaited horse. I think you and BW have some common(maybe more uncommon) ancestors!
