The Left Behind Series? [not the kids series]

Has anyone else read these? What do you guys think? After reading the threads about the "end of times", I've been thinking.

If you have read them, do you believe them to be somewhat accurate? I was under the impression that the authors did all their research properly and wrote it as accurate as you possibly can with that sort of stuff.

I haven't read the very last book yet, as it wasn't in Paperback yet when I saw it. I only have like four of the books, I read the rest from my aunt.

Also, have you read "The Rising"? It was about Nicolae Carpathia's life growing up and whatnot - it was really interesting.

No I haven't read that. I did read a series of books in grade 10 about these kids who's city was overtaken by a foreign power and they had to live in the woods undetected. I liked it.

Where can I find this book? IS it worth reading?

They are VERY good books. I am NOT religious at ALL, but I was absolutely in LOVE with this series. I need to go out and buy the rest so I can complete the series on my bookshelf.

I also need to go buy the Glorious Appearing, but I haven't found it cheap enough yet.

I read this book too! I cannot for the life of my remember what it was called, but I want to read it again!

You can find it at any bookstore, usually. Barnes and Nobel, et cetera. It's a whole series, and it is VERY worthwhile!!!!!

They would probably only be enjoyable to somebody who is extremely Christian religous based. They are entirely about the Tribulation and follow the stories of people who were "left behind".

Well...I"m not reglious at ALL, and balk at ANY religious stuff, but I loved these books. So...I don't think you have to be religious.

I'm not religious, but I can take the apocalypse/judgement day stuff. It seems like the prophecies timeline was correct. Does not mean I have to be religious.

I personally dont get how they can be enjoyed if you dont believe the story behind them, but hey lol, thats just me. Long as you enjoyed them
I guess you just look at them as a literal "story" then.

I personally, stopped reading after the first one because they hit too close to home and got too into detail for me. I dont need to know THAT much about what is going to happen....and it weirded me out.

Well, I read them more for the "story" standpoint, but I'm not ANTI religion to the point where i odn't believe it, I'm just more skeptical, per say.

Either way, they are a very, very good read, and I really got into them.
