What do you think the horse market will do?

I think the high end of the market will stay steady, the low end will bottom out for a while, and the middle range will continue to fluctuate as it always has.

Yes, Kissit I know the economy is bad right now. Thats all I hear lately is my dad griping about the economy.

Banks give out to many loans.
Houses won't sell.
China is trying to kill us through toys.
Dollar is worth ****.
And Super Models & Rappers are now asking to be paid in Euros.

The world is going to crash soon!

Lol Very true...
I think the market is terrible for everybody. Gas is too high,housing market is terrible and horses are not selling, horses that are worth 6k are selling for 2k and the cheap ones go for nothing.. Its not going to get better untill we stop charging gas too much,house start selling.. People are FLAT OUT BROKE we have no money to buy horses. and people are needing to sell there horses because they can afford to feed them..thats my option.

Yes, I mean the pricey ones. People who buy $50,000 horses aren't going to be hurting enough to stop buying them.

^^^I don't know if I would count on that. The people who buy the $50,000 horses are probably the same people who own the businesses who's stocks are going down. I think your still going to see a downward shift in the number of higher priced horse sales.

The horse economy probably won't get any better until the end of the next growing season. IF we have a good growing season. If we get slaughter back in place, IF the economy picks up quickly and IF ethanol fuels stop getting made.

I don't see it getting better anytime soon. My Horse Buster could've sol for $5000 just a couple of years ago...now I would be pushing it to get $1000.

And He is NOT for sale, never will be. BUT, I do have another horse that I wass trying to sell but now I think that I am pretty much stuck with him. Nobody wants to buy a crazy horse that is small(14.1) and needs constant attention or he goes crazy. I won't sell him to a kid because he's to much to handle sometimes and no adult wants him because he's "small!"

The crazy thing is that I do kinda like the crazy horse and I really think that if I get my arena/round pen built where I can work him....I really think he will be a lot better. He has a lot of potential!
