The Bond is There

Let me just say that I am beginning to become very very very happy with Chip and I's relationship.

I am really starting to see how far we have come, and how far we can go. I am not a terribly confident rider, but he has taught me to be in order to communicate with him

. I don't know, it just seems like we have been through alot together so far, and I can't wait to proceed further with him.I am definately happy that it's going to be summertime soon!!!! I was taking pictures of nature around my home today, and looked up to this adorable face

....

After taking the pictures, I put the camera in the house and went to lunge him for about 30 minutes. He was AMAZING. He was listening very well to just voice cues, no whip or lead rope. If you cannot tell already I am a verryy proud mommy!! hahaha!!

Hi Mommy! Whatcha Doin' over there???

You just gonna stand there?

I'll come and get your lazy bum..

Humm..so you think the ladies will like this pose Mommy?

haha! I love my silly boy! And to think I was going to give up on him

. All I can say is that it is a blessing that I didn't, because he is a blessing to my life, even if he has his buthole days

I have a gelding that I almost "gave up on", too. I'm so glad I didn't cause he's taught me so much already!!
