The 3 TB broodmares I look after...

Okay, well since the beginning of August, I have been looking after an elderly mans (well call him Bill) 3 TB broodmares. His knee is bummed, and hes 74 yrs old. He has 26 acres (he had 36, but had to sell 10) and back in his day, he bred, raised, trained and raced TBs! He has a 3/8 mile racetack, 20 pastures, thats right NOT paddocks, PASTURES!, a large in/out where you could house 10 horses with lots of comfort. His main barn has 35 stalls, plus 2 tack rooms, TONS of hay storage, etc, etc... his other barn, which is GORGEOUS, made of nice cedar is a 27 stall barn... and he has an apartment, HUGE warehouse-like hay storage, and 2 other storage 'warehouses' as well as where he stores HUGE crates of grain behind the aparment! LOL

ANYWAYS... I had put an ad up for boarding on our local horse council forums.. and a girl contacted me. she is a friend of *Bills who didnt have time to stop by and help him out...so I boarded Mandy there for the Month of August as pay for feeding, turning out/in, and picking his mares stalls. (basicly running his place) Then an opening came up at the barn where we are now, and I moved, but promised to still help him, and in return, we get unlimited free hay from him!! He cuts it off his property, and makes an easy 3000 bales a year.... and its BEAUTIFUL hay!!!
I do it cause his sons want him to sell the horses, and his property, cuz they want the money, cause the property is worth ALOT! but he LOVES his girls, and would prob die if he didnt have them to get up to!... so i do it so he can keep his mares!
So I finally uploaded the pics of his mares!! I love all three of them to bits!

I am supposed to start riding Star for him soon! she is AWESOME!!!

heres the mares:

Flag a Rich One AKA Flag or "Granny" as *Bill calls her
She is about 20 yrs old, solid Black, and a real neat girl!!! She won *Bill over $100 000 on the track in her day! she is in foal for 2006.

Super Sharp aka Super
she is about 10 yrs old, and Star's full sister. She won over $150 000 on the track, and is worth, due to her lines and such about $40 000 and all her foals sell for over $30 000!!

so next spring ill be handling some PREETTY exspensive foals!!! I LOVE Super!!! shes such a cutie!! shes the first one to neigh at me in the AM!!

Star IR aka Star
6 yrs old. She is BOMBPROOF! lol NOTHING frightens her!!! she is Supers full sister. and unlike her sis with chrome, shes almost solid! I LOVE her!!! shes SOOOO cool!

and she has THE cutest face front-on!!!

LOL sorry the pics are so bad, but Star kept chasing me around and snorting on the lens!

O yea... and they are still skinny in the pics, because they had just come back from the breeder shortly before the pics were taken...
and even tho he paid mare care, they didnt feed the mares the whole time they wer there it seems!

so they all came home VERY underweight!!

Also, Flag has no tail, as when she was sent out last year (but didnt catch) they left her tail wrapped, and a few days after returning home, her tail fell off!

Just so ya know! LOL

Also, Star has movement to DIE for! OMG shes amazing!! she can also jump!!! he could large money for her, if sold to a show home!!!
