thanks for the showmanship help!it worked!

Hay havent posted in a while. But i got alot of help getting ready for a 4h distric show.I entered in showmanship and had no clue what to do.I never had a lesson or anything on it.Well i got 5th out of 9.One place away from going to state!I was sure to get last.Everyone else had top notch horses and outfits and from lisntening, had been doing this for awhile. Some even had personal trainers their.I dont think we set up right and our pivot leaves something to be desired but the judge must have seen something he liked! So thanks everyone!

thanks!i was so suprized though cuz i dont have nice show clothes or anything and i have to teach myself to teach my horse. She got last in halter and last in WP.But in WP she tried to bite the other horses so i guess that didnt help my score.lol..she is a typical snob.she hates paliminos, paints, and ponys.Dont ask my why but she will bite most of them.So when the palimino in wp came around she lost it and i had to stop her to prevent her from attacking. At a show she was stalled by a paint palimino pony lookin thing one time and gosh it was aweful.she screamed and squealed and tried to kick the stall down. She only does this with certain horses.Get her by herself she great.I was reckomended to do horsemanship next yr.never done it but i will start practicing now.lol..at least it will be just my and my horse.

Hey, you placed in the middle of your class, so that's not too bad!

Congrats!

LOL yeah...biting other horses in WP won't get you far. Might want to work on that a little.

Hey, when I was showing 4H all of my show clothes came from goodwill, and you couldn't ever tell the difference.
The Arab I used to show would come into heat at every single show we went to lol
One time at an open show they had her stalled next to a stud and well, lets just say we had to move our hussy of a mare
(He was a beautiful gray Arab)

lol yeah.It depends on her mood.At local 4h i got first in wp out of like 6 or 7.but she was more worried about ppl outside the arena then the horses in it.Ive just been real proud of my 5th place since ive been teaching myself only for 2 months!but i had all you guys to help me.lol..I was waiting for the announcer to call my place first(from calling bottom placing up) so i could hide my shame and get out. When i didnt hear it i thought they skipped me!And then they almost got to the state placings and they finnally called my name.I think some of the ppl i beat were mad though. They were all dressed out and i looked a mess with my too big boots and mens shirt and hat.(im a girl and i wore my dads boots,a mens gus crown black hat and a lime green mens shirt)..I sure got a few looks..
