at present count (and I counted yesterday ) I have 22 saddles. That includes the goofy ones too, like a saddle seat and a western saddle a friend gave me, etc... and I *am* in the process of selling 3 or 4... and I have a few floating around with friends out there.... but yeah, I have a few. And I only have one rideable horse.

22 SADDLES! Geeze thats insane (no offence)
Do you just have them stacked in corners of the house?

I'm pretty guilty.

4 saddles (with irons and leathers, and I even have a few extra pairs of leathers)
3 half pads
at least 12 saddle pads
5 girths...I think
7 bridles, many with 2 sets of reins
countless bits
4 sets of horse boots, front and back
4 sets of polos
2 leather halters
5 (I think) halters
6 ish leads

and I'm not counting blankets and coolers.

Oh, and I have 3 horses, but only ride 2 of them.

I've turned my laundry room into a tack room. We've got more western headstalls than I can count - all with bits, curb straps and reins. There's also:

- a dozen or so "loose" bits in a tool box
- 2 extra large storage bins full of blankets/sheets
- 4 saddles; 3 western, 1 english cc
- a stack of western work pads
- 3 bosals
- 4 mecates
- 5 complete sets of shipping wraps & bandages
- multiple polo sets
- 2 sets of driving harness
- tons of miscellaneous tack

lol, no, that would create dents on the panels if I did that Nope, they're cleaned, conditioned, covered and hanging on saddle racks. The few I actually use are in my tackroom, the ones I'm not using are in a climate controlled storage facility. I have about 5 or 6 out on loan with friends.

don't be, its a lot of work to keep them all cleaned, etc. Its a drag really.

I'd trade all of them for one that really fit me and my horse like a glove

Agreed. I went through that insanity with Cayenne recently. I didn't want to sit in another new saddle, and she was starting to give me dirty looks at tack up time.
