I can't say much for this exact saddle, but I can tell you that my Big Horn flex tree holds up just fine to almost daily use. If the saddle is quality and the tree is quality, then it is a good saddle. I do have a client that has a Tex Tan flex tree saddle that she has had for three years and it is still in excellent shape. The flex trees that don't hold up well are cheap, or are used for roping. They don't hold up well to dragging a calf. If you buy quality, you get quality, and I am pretty sure that Tex Tan has a lifetime warrenty on the tree.

I have an older TexTan that I love, its a great saddle and has held up well over the years--just had it restuffed. My sister bought a TexTan trail saddle a few years ago, and we were dissapointed to find that parts you don't know about are plastic Plastic in Saddles?!? I have no personal experience with a flex tree however.

Actually the seat was redone, and the panel lining underneath.
