Tell me your least favorite Bloodlines and why, of course

Here's a thread for fun to let us all know which bloodlines are your least favorite. Could even name your least favorite stallion. My least favorite is Frenchman's Guy. Don't like his body, or head. Can pick out one his offspring in a heartbeat, they all have very thick necks.

For Quarterhorses, it would be Impressive and Hancock. Neither of those lines float my boat.

I tend to stay away from the Peppy San and JJ June Bug get as well.

Impressive - HYPP - negative or not, in my area they don't tend to sell well.

Hancock - have seen some pretty broncy get from that line... and some fairly rawboned jugheads as well.

Peppy San - another line that seems to carry a fair bit of buck and can be quite waspy.

JJ June Bug - hot headed and very reactive tendencies.

Keep in mind that I'm aware that these are only what I'm finding in this area...I'm sure there are those that love these bloodlines - they just aren't my cup of tea.

Take care.

I agree with Rocky top on Impressive horses. That HYPP is something to avoid.

You can't go wrong in the Quarter Horses with Doc Bar or Mr Gunsmoke and I have a Peppy San Badger bred 8 yr old stud I have had since he was a weanling and he only buck 1 time because the other horse was bucking. In fact, after I bailed off the mare, he immediately stopped and while she ran back to the house, he stood there patiently waiting to be told what to do next!! He is a sweet horse!!

I don't like the Investment in Pine (I think that's it lol) only because it seems that everyhorse has it here. It would be nice to have some new blood.
They're really nice horses though. I don't really know a lot of bloodlines.

I can't think of any I don't like right now.

But I love all Doc Bar horses.

Hancock bred horses take a special hand I must say. If handled right, they make great speed event horses. Handled wrong.....hehe, you might walk away with a severe limp. Seen it happen.

LOVE LOVE my Hancock bred appendix colt! He's going to be HUGE, but he's just a big ol puppy dog. I'm sure not all are the same.

What I hate are horses that have Hancock 5-6 generations back, and they pull the Hancock name back up.

Here is my Hancock guy at 3 months old, look at that HIP! He's now 18 months old, and sold, but living with us until they get their cross fencing done.

Impressive-- for the same reasons as everyone else. Plus they tend to have a bit of a nasty temperment

Skippa Star --the ones I have been around are flighty and spooky.
