TB pedigree

Does anyone recognise any of these horses? Also can anyone help me read the numbers and symbols on these TB charts?

Like for instance, what do the letter mean in front of the year. I'm assuming it denotes the color, but not sure. Like "b"= black, "drk b"=dark bay or dark black.

Also the numbers at the top of the page. It must be some sort of racing stats, but don't know what they mean.

I just went to help, FAQ and it tells you how to read everything, I got this off of there:
The numbers you see on top of each pedigree dispaly are related to Steve Roman's Dosage system. For more information about the dosage system see http://www.chef-de-race.com/. That site explains how dosage is calculated and what the various numbers mean.

Sandra,

Thank you. I just found this on the web. King Ranch did own Rejected.

Expansion into the "Sport of Kings" began in 1934 when CHICARO, a finely bred Thoroughbred stallion, was purchased. It was hoped that the characteristics he possessed, the compactness of build and the muscled strength of line, would improve the OLD SORREL line of Quarter Horses. CHICARO's presence led to an intense and engrossing study of Thoroughbred bloodlines which, in turn, began to focus on racing. In 1938, Kentucky Derby winner, BOLD VENTURE, was bought to use as a foundation stallion. The breeding program began producing results with victories in stakes races as early as 1936. In 1946, the prestigious Triple Crown was won by ASSAULT, a son of BOLD VENTURE. Many other major victories followed through the years with horses such as MIDDLEGROUND (also by BOLD VENTURE), who won two of the three Triple Crown races, as well as HIGH GUN, REJECTED, TO MARKET, and BETTER SELF, to name but a few. King Ranch no longer owns any Thoroughbred blood stock and the King Ranch Farm in Lexington, Kentucky, originally purchased in 1946, was sold in December, 1998.
