TB or QH (looking for QH stallions)

I've been considering breeding my appendix QH (major big IF though). I'm not sure which would be better though, breeding to a TB or a QH. I would be breeding for an all-round sport horse that could do pretty much anything. I've thought of some pros and cons for both. If you can think of any more, feel free to list them.

TB pros:
can breed for free (know people w/ nice stallions)
will get more the "type" that I like
better conformation to cross with my mare

TB cons:
not registered unless through Appendix Horse Association

QH pros:
registered
probably a better market for the foal (selling down the road, 4+ yrs)
stud fees for good stallions are not as high

QH cons:
not the market of horse I'm going to be getting into (for future training/selling)
harder to find a stallion with the conformation that will compliment my mare

Here is my mare. She is registered Appendix QH. What would need to be improved on her? She is a little over in the knees, and I would like a little better shoulder/neck connection on her. Anything else?

And one QH stallion that I found and I like. I definitely prefer an Appendix stallion over a straight QH.

His ad again, without live foal guarantee (which would be better?)

If anyone knows any other stallions, feel free to post them. I would like the stallion to be at least 16 hh, preferably bay/dark bay/brown/dark brown/black (but would consider others if they are really good).

Any and all ideas/input would be greatly appreciated!

Here's another pic of my mare:

There are SO many QH stallions who have a very large % of TB blood, that there isn't a reason you can't go QH, for registration "value", but still get a mostly TB stallion. Heck, there are even some full TBs who are registered QH due to points.

Indian Artifacts is such a looker. Would he work for her?

I'm more of an Arab person but he does it for me (not many QHs do).

He is 17.2hh like Indian Artbeat, too. His dam is a TB, and his sire's dam is a TB. So only his sire has QH lines through his sire. Mostly TB!

What do you plan on using the foal for, if you plan to keep them?

I would breed to a HUS QH. You get the "type" you want with the QH registration to back it up.

That's why I've been thinking of just going with a QH stallion that is more TB looking (before I was just thinking TB).

He is definitely one I'd consider!

I would sell the foal down the road. I would like to train it and possibly show it first. I would be doing everything with it, Dressage, jumping, Hunter/Jumper, Hunter, Eventing, speed events, possibly some reining (just low level basics), trail, probably driving, and whatever else I think the foal can do. I just want it to be as well rounded as possible.

Here's another stallion I came across that I really like: http://www.bffarms.com/regal.cfm

I really like Secretly Regal. You have a wonderful taste!

Indian Artifacts has done a lot and offers plenty of incentives. His offspring's versatility is what gets me every time. You can't beat the almost completely TB pedigree either!

^ Indian Artifacts is Indian Artbeat's sire.

I understand it is a lot higher fee, but I would breed straight to Indian Artifacts for a sibling to the stud you were originally looking at. He produces a lot of nice sporthorse type QH foals and DeGraff is offering a lot of discounts and incentives these days!

Indian Artifacts' published stud fee is $2000.

I'm not a QH person so it's probably just me but the first picture of the black stallion looks really strange. Is it photoshopped or something? It's looks unnatural. I like Indian Artifacts the best. I don't think you would get what you want with a TB sire, some of the mares faults are seen in TB's a lot. Good luck with your mare.

Ok, that's what I've been starting to look into. I'm not real familiar with those horses (bloodlines etc)

I'll look into that. I'd rather not have to pay as much in stud fees if I can help it.

It does look photoshopped... Ok, I'll definitely look more with QHs then to compliment my mare. Thanks!
