There is a confo shot of Indian Artbeat on another of his ads, but it's not the greatest.

Yeh, I am looking for more Eventing/Dressage type, but also that could do all-round (I will most likely be selling the foal down the road, so the more it can do the better!).

yea, you are right..its not the best pic, but it does tell me a few things. I don't like his hip; it's shallow and lacks substance. He is also built uphill which is nice, but his hip is his downfall. I like a little more "beef/power" back there at the engine..LOL. The pic also gives him the look of being over at the knee a tad. I don't think he's as balanced as the Rugged Lark.

I agree, and I strongly dislike his stifle and hock angles.

On the Indian stud? Yea, he just really lacks some nice substance back there...he has more substance in the front end that the back, hence the lack of balance. If I could figure out how to do it, I would post a confo shot of the Lark, Indian, and Regal horse fo a comparison,

Jennifer

I see what you mean about him being unbalanced. I wish they had a better pic.

Might have already been said but if your mare is Appendix then you HAVE to breed to a QH. The only way you could breed to a TB is if the mare has been advanced into the regular AQHA registry.

I'm not sure if she has (don't think so though) and would have to look at her papers when I get home. If I did breed her to a TB then I would get her approved through the Appendix registry (http://www.americanappendix.com/) then register the foal there.

I'm no good at finding stallions that fit the mare well, but one of the best horses I've ever ridden was by Artful Move. Not sure how well he would do with your mare though.

By advanced to regular registry she means getting her ROM That's the only way she can be.

You know, there's also this guy...http://www.nolimitfarm.com/nlfonthecatwalk.htm. He's registered JC and APHA, so you could get both Appendix AND APHA papers on the foal. He doesn't throw much color at all really, so you wouldn't have to worry about a loud colored paint

How about Jaks Artifacts. He's a 17.3 son of IA and out of TB mare. We bred and sold a beautiful brown filly by him a few years ago. His new owner is planning on using her for eventing and raves about her wonderful mind & temperment.
