He is definitely one I'd consider!

I would sell the foal down the road. I would like to train it and possibly show it first. I would be doing everything with it, Dressage, jumping, Hunter/Jumper, Hunter, Eventing, speed events, possibly some reining (just low level basics), trail, probably driving, and whatever else I think the foal can do. I just want it to be as well rounded as possible.

Here's another stallion I came across that I really like: http://www.bffarms.com/regal.cfm
Ooooh then yes, definitely leaning towards a TB'er QH.

I'm all for hunter/jumper, so I'd be more partial to Thoroughbreds. Not that QH's can't do H/J, but as a generalization.

It looks like her front pasterns might be a bit long/weak though it's hard to tell in the grass. I don't know if it's how she is standing in the pics but she looks a bit sickle hocked (and I'm willing to bet that came from her QH half-- you rarely rarely see that in TBs). Her croup is a tad bit too steep for my tastes, too.

If you're really serious about getting her ROM, that would open so many doors....

(I know there are plenty of other nice TB stallions out there, but I tried to go with the ones more geared towards jumpers/eventing rather than hunters )
I think it is the pics that make her look sickle hocked. Thanks, I have noticed those other flaws. They don't look bad *to me*, just something to be aware of. I would like to get her ROM, it just depends on how much showing I can afford to do.

Thanks for posting those stallions! Yes I would definitely like to stick towards more jumpers/eventing stallions.

I'm more into the jumpers/eventing/dressage type horses. I totally agree with being partial to Thoroughbreds and more TB type QHs. I thought about breeding her to a warmblood, but I don't think she is built quite well enough or moves good enough for that investment. (waiting on my TB filly down the road!)

These are my fav stallions so far:
Indian Artbeat (I just really like him! And he's homozygous black, definitely a bonus!)
http://www.equine.com/stallions-at-s...13&breed_ids=5
Secretly Regal
http://www.bffarms.com/regal.cfm
My Rugged Destiny (I like him, just not quite as much)
http://www.atlanticequineservices.com/stallion.html

If anyone knows of any other stallions, feel free to post them. I'm looking at QHs as I think that would be the best way to go. I would like the stallions to be at least 16 hh (looking to get a little bigger foal) and a more TB type (preferably 1/2 TB or a good amount of TB influence). The more versatile the stallion, the better! I'd like to find a stallion that would compliment my mare and improve her weak points.

I haven't clicked on the link yet, but if you can find another Rugged Lark stud....I think it would be a nice choice for what you want according to the riding disciplines you mentioned.

Acually...I just clicked on the Rugged Lark and I REALLY like him. Love that he is uphill, LOVE LOVE the hock set, awesome neck and back, decent bone but looks a tad tied in at the knee.

I really like him too. I do like the Rugged Lark horses. I just don't know of any (this one was originally posted by someone else). I would be worried about that if he's tied in at the knee. My mare is slightly over in the knees (doesn't bother her, sire and brother are the same way) and I would really like a stallion with good front legs.

I checked out Indian Artbeat...wish they had a confo shot of him. Secretly Regal was OK, just looks really hunterish to me and I know you want more eventing/dressage??
