If you get her ROM you can register a TB foal out of her.

What are the ways I could get that? She is coming 10, was started on the track, but didn't run, and has no show experience.

Yes, I do ride her. She has been in training since last summer and I just bought her this summer. I have known her for about 7 years, and know her siblings (own 2). She just hasn't been shown. I'm going to try and do some showing with her though. She is training as an all-round horse.

Well you could do some simple stuff like trail, etc. Maybe western pleasure if she's right for it. I don't know how much it would take to get the ROM, but it might be WELL worth it.

Doesn't AQHA have jumpers too? They may be hard to find, but breed show jumpers are soooo much less difficult than open jumpers. May be an easier way to earn her ROM

What about a paint? I agree with grayfox that so many TBs have the same faults as her. Most significantly the small hind end I'll see what I can find for you.

This guy is by far one of my favorite QH stallions for sport. You could get AWR papers too, but it's more work than just filling out paperwork.

He's adorable. I wouldn't have posted half of those pictures but I like him.

Ok, I'll look into it. She's not a pleasure type horse. All of her siblings are running horses, and she does love to run!

Jumpers would definitely be easier for her to do.

I'm really not interested in a paint, I'm not exactly a paint fan....!

What other faults do you see with her? Her hind end isn't really that noticeable in person as being too small. (maybe it's just me....) Thanks, that would be great!

I like him. I've always been a fan of Rugged Lark.

Well....She's downhill stifle to elbow and while she looks uphill from wither to hip, I bet it's because of her big ol' withers Her neck is set low with the ever-so-typical TB dip in front of her withers, leading to a slightly short neck. It looks like her front pasterns might be a bit long/weak though it's hard to tell in the grass. I don't know if it's how she is standing in the pics but she looks a bit sickle hocked (and I'm willing to bet that came from her QH half-- you rarely rarely see that in TBs). Her croup is a tad bit too steep for my tastes, too.

If you're really serious about getting her ROM, that would open so many doors....

(I know there are plenty of other nice TB stallions out there, but I tried to go with the ones more geared towards jumpers/eventing rather than hunters )
