Tail growth!

Well, here is photo evidence of Cuesta's tail growth! We got her in December 2005, and shortly before that, someone chopped ehr tail because they were too lazy to get the frozen balls of ice out of it.. here goes!!!
May 2006: (she is the mare, lol.)

Now! (actually, March 2007, last week.)

Thats a considerable amount. Have you been using MTG? Ive had GREAT results with MTG.

Cuesta is very pretty too!

Thanks! She is my baby.. (well, a big baby, but nonetheless.)
I have not done anything special to get it to grow. I feed free-choice hay and then grain 2x a day (Blue Seal Trotter.) I was using sweet feed last spring-fall and milk replacer while they had their foals, but since January-ish, I weaned the mares off sweet and just use the BSeal..

*sigh* I'm waiting for Rowan's tail to grow out after the goats got munchy. His looks a lot like your mare's in the first picture. Hopefully it will grow out soon. I'm using MTG and when it gets long enough I will sheet it.

Oh congrats! You should be really proud of that work. For anyone who is looking for coat growth, I started Luna on the Eqyss Mega-Tek gel which I bought for her blanket rubs, but decided to use on her tail as well, and in two weeks I'm seeing huge improvements already. I would highly recommend it for anyone looking to grow hair/manes/tails.

MegaTek does work great too. I apply it whenever I take a Skips bag out. I love that stuff.
