Braided tail wrap. They can swish fly's just like they do with their natural tail. And you can get them in prints, solids or foil colors..... I love mine. I tyyed mine at the very bottom of the dock(on the hair part) and its grown down to her hocks! (with use of shapleys mtg) We've had to tye it higher like 6 times because it grew so much....

3 tube tail bag by sleazy sleepwear for horses: Here's the one my mare has on her(that is not my mare in the photo, you can order many different colors of prints, foils, or solids) Here's a print: http://www.nrsworld.com/istar.asp?a=6&id=BL044011!SLEAZ Here's a solid: http://www.nrsworld.com/istar.asp?a=6&id=BL044010!SLEAZ

You can go to www.theuniversalhorse.com and see more colors and cheaper prices. Look under the section, Accessories for the horse, on the left hand side of the screen. They have many good colors and great cheap prices! Go with one of theses! There great!

I know someone who used the braided tail wrap and wove baling twine through parts of it to make the horse a "fly swatter". She was careful to loop and tie the string very loosely though so if it got caught, it would just snap or pull free and not rip the tail-wrap or the horse's tail.
