What tack care product do you guys recommend?

There are so many tack/leather care products on the market. I was wondering what you have found to be the best cleaner/conditioner product for bridles and saddles.

I love the german "beeswax" that comes in the orange bucket! Nothing beats that for conditioning! I like Fiebings Glycerine Saddle Soap for cleaning too

BW I also use leather new. If you want to bring an old, old saddle back to life, rub it down good with Blackrock Leather 'N' Rich and let it soak for a day or two. Recommended by an old guy who reconditions old saddles.

I love Horseman's One Step as a tack conditioner.

Smile Thanks for the advise on Care of Tack

Specifically, I am trying to restore the black flap of my dressage saddle, which is 9 years old and quite worn so that the flaps are brownish looking and the outside skin of the leather is worn off. Appreciate the advise.

I'm also a huge fan of leather new. I also like "Saddle Food". It is a wonderful leather conditioner. For silver and chrome the best product that I've found is "Never Dull". It's a wadding polish. Tooth paste also works well on silver, and ketchup works well to clean copper (such as mouthpeices in bits; just be sure to get all of the ketchup off).

Thumbs up

Leather New
LEXOL LEATHER CONDITONER
Mink Oil
And during show season: Fiebing's Leather Sheen Aerosol

Oh..and for the silver on some of my show tack:
Hagerty Silversmith Spray Polish
It comes in a light blue can as it is an aerosol spray. Just spray it on, let it dry (it turns light pink) and then just buff it off!
Great stuff and usually one cleaning will last you the whole show...or even longer!
