a little needle phobia is worth it. I don't worry anymore. But it wears off after about 5 months, sometimes 6. But I only use normal deodorant, one t-shirt, and never worry. Worth it to me. They have some lasering thing you can do also. No needles, but it's supposed to be permanent, I think? | |

I use Dove coo essentials with cucumber and green tea extracts. It smeels SO good. I sweat in my underarms.. not TERRIBLY bad, but pretty good1 LOL and I still smell the dove even after an entire day of working at the barn! I sweat BAD on my forehead/face though! It is made WAY worse by some meds I am on! My mom uses Mitchum for women... its "so effective you can skip a day" as they say. My mom sweats bad, and it works amazing for her... efven if she does "skip a day" by accident! ![]() OT sort of..but my dad was so lucky! He actual;ly didnt have any sweat glands in his underarms, but they were on the back of his neck!... so he sweated BAD on the back of his neck, but not at all under his arms. He didnt need deoderant! The doctors actually checked and confirmed- no sweat glandes under hsi arms, but there were extra on the back of his neck! LOL

I use Drysol at night, and Certain Dri in the morning. Even that dosn't do very much for me, but for normal people it might. I also like the secret clear gel stuff. About the injections/lasering, do you know if it's approved for people with health issues, or if you can get it in Canada? |

A good remedy to this solution is that you wear 2 shirts, this way you sweat through the first one, and not the second one on top of it. My friend has the same problem that you do, and you would think that wearing 2 shirts makes you sweat more, but it really doesnt. Also, it helps if the shirt on top is white, because then if sweat does come through, it wont be as noticable. And another thing, you may want to try a guy deoderant/antiperspirent, becuase they are stronger than womens. you may want to apply it both before you go to bed, and then again in the morning when you wake up. it really cuts down on how much you sweat during the day. hope this helps

Yeah...I've been trying to find a solution my whole life. I swear the deodorant/antiperspirant comanies should study me. I find that rotating products help. Ever notice that that new deodorant you buy works well for the first couple days but then wanes after a week or so? I switch it up frequently. I think I have like 5 different brands sitting in my bathroom. All mens right now (I like their scents better) and 1 women's but I just buy whatever I like the smell of now days b/c I've pretty much tried it all. My friend got some cream from her Dr. that is supposed to cut down on the sweating. I forget the name of it, but she says it's working! Keeping your pits shaved does help, and apply several times a day (try not to mix products between showers...you may risk a nasty reaction). Lemme know if you find the wonder solution!!

My sister has this problem. She uses this stuff. I waited to reply until I could aske her what is was she used. http://www.stopsweat.com/index.htm She also said on days she knows she is going to be doing something that will cause her to sweat more she will put a very thin panty liner in the underarm area of her shirt. unless you raise your arms super high in the air no one will ever know it's there.

that anti-perspirant your sister uses seems cool. I used to use Dove, didn't work. Used Secret, didn't work. Used Sure, worked for a little. Now I use Degree which works most of the time. Speed Stick works great though.. used it at school sometimes. But be careful when you buy guys' deoderants. Make sure there is no aluminum in it, cuz it is unhealthy for women. Aluminum is very good at stopping sweat though.. that's why womens' anti-perspirant is weaker cuz companies can't use it. I know Old Spice has aluminum, but not sure what other brands have them. Yeah, shaving does help to keep the sweat away from your underarms. I sweat like a pig on my back though.. figures cuz I'm mad hairy. |
