So, the people that own this guy are interested in Queen, and you will get a foal from him is that the idea?
I like him, I want to see some video though.
PS- Whats the deal with the Yeager breeding...not going to happen, or maybe not if you can breed to this guy instead.
PPS- there is already a Goldshlager

I don't love how his neck ties into his chest, and his left front leg is a bit funny. But I don't think either is a serious issue, and I think you will get a much nicer foal from him. And he is proven in the ring, which I like. I like the black stud too, but I think you have a better chance of getting a foal that will do what you want with a horse built like this guy. And a better chance selling the baby if you decide to at some point.

Maya--

Basically, they take Queen into their "custody," breed her, care for her during pregnancy, foaling, etc, and once the baby is weaned, I pick it up. The first baby is mine from the time it hits the ground, and once I "receive" the foal, ownership of Queen would be transferred to the stud owner. So the foal is payment for the mare, if that makes sense .

There are videos of 3 gaits on the site-- he got a 9 for walk and 8.5s for trot and canter.

I'm not sure about the Yeager breeding. If the owner of the Appy stallion takes her, what would happen is the Yeager breeding would be used instead of breeding her to the Appy, and I'd get the Yeager foal once weaned and from there the new owner would use Queen to breed Appies. If the owner of this stud takes her, then I'd much rather have a foal out of Gauguin du Cheval-- MUCH more accomplished, better breeding, more markettable, etc...and for sure registerable with something more "prestigious" than AWS, as it doesn't look like Yeager is going to the RPSI approvals as we had been lead to believe (Suzie, can you confirm? ). Maybe I'll hang onto the Yeager breeding in case I get a filly and they would cross well, maybe I'll sell it to Amanda for Dreamer ...who knows? Maybe I'll just have to count my losses. I'm not terribly thrilled with the possibility of having a solid, unmarked bay colt with no real substantial bloodlines who is only registerable with the AWS...he might be able to jump the moon, but he'd be hard to market....

I know there's a Goldschlager...but with what registry?

Haha thanks Jordana, I won't argue . It was more I've been posting whatever stud whose owners were interested in working out a deal for Queen, so I really haven't exactly had my pick of whoever I wanted . So I am REALLY excited to try and work something out with this boy's owner!!!

Have you seen him before? Do you know anything about him?

ooo I would love to buy it from you especially if his fee goes up for any reason. The only problem is... I can't breed her for a couple years (darn college!) but if you still had it I would be all over it

I do love this guy though... *wanders off to daydream of lovely warmblood foals*

This stud is 100% better. I love him. AWESOME level back, still upright shoulder but his back legs are still waaayy better than the black studs, even with the shoulder. Beautiful head. He's just beautiful.

Oh be still my beating heart, this horse is flawless! If at all possible I'd go with him for sure! Superior build. Cannot critique perfection, yum, yum, yum.
