Is that how you spell it

I just wondered what superstitions people have out there??

For example, If we buy something new we can't wear it straight away at a competition, but wear it before hand or stamp on it!!

lol

Anybody have some really funny/wierd superstitions

Just thought it would be fun!!

yeah mine one is when i show i can't have a munber like 1111 or 1212 or somehting along that line.

I always wear a 14 number.

I always wear my lucky purple plaid undies- clean, of course!

I touch all the fences when I walk the course- touch them now and my horse won't have to touch them later!

My coach is really superstitious and I think that it's made us all paranoid. Whenever we're at shows, our coach makes us carry a baby blue handkerchief in our right pocket. When someone on our team rides, we pull it out a bit for good look (he says we have to give a little 'chief), but when someone from another barn is riding we put it back in. We always untie and then retie our tall boot shoelaces if we do badly (or lose), but if we do well we leave them be. Before we go into the arena, we always known on our own helmet, once with each hand. It seems silly when you think about it, but that's how we always do things. People always get a laugh out of us, but it works!! (or so we'd like to believe, lol)
