Talking Studs.....Do you use?

Do you use studs?

Mothie is getting Stud shoes back on. I had them on once but they were necessary at the time. They are coming back on now.

Which do you thinka re better? Front Shoes Only,Back shoes only or all four?

When I saw the title I was thinking "breeding stud" LOL I was like, if you want a foal...how else would you get a baby???

Anyway, nope. No studs for me. Mine are barefoot. All year round!

If you're going to be doing more X country in the soupy weather then I'd suggest removable studs on all four.

Studs go into the shoes. You get different studs for difference surfaces and weather conditions.

I'd get all 4. You never know what kind of weather will hit and what surfaces turn into.

Dont forget a stud guard for your girth.

we don't use them because most of our horses are turned out with others and when they kick at each other, they would really do some hard core damage with studs on. I never even boriumed LOL

Tehehe do you really wanna go there?!

No I dont use them. I dont ride enough in the winter and we have a ring so he doesnt really need them. Plus he goes barefoot which is really good for his feet!
