Stud fees...

Have you ever looked at TB stud fees? It's outrageous!!! I can't believe what some people pay... I guess they've got the money though... and if the foal's a winner it pays them back...

I looked up Storm Cat cause I love him and couldn't believe my eyes! I can see why, though.... He has some awesome sons standing at stud!!!!

here's one... Three Wonders ~ stud fee $5,000

And another... Tiger Ridge ~ stud fee $7,500

Check this stud out!!!! Unbridled's Song ~ stud fee $125,000

I LOVE THIS ONE!!! Valid Expectations ~ Stud fee $17,500

Look at this guy... I read somewhere that when farms put a stud up they fatten them up to make them look better to mare owners, you know more beefy?... I believe it with this one... A.P. Indy ~ $300,000

Here's Mineshaft by A.P. Indy ~ stud fee $100,000

I know isn't he gorgeous? I wouldn't mind having a QH mare bred to him... or even a Paint... he's so beefy he looks like he could be one almost anyways...

Smarty Jones' stud fee I believe is $100,000. I won't ever have to worry about breeding to any of those bad boys.

There's a retired vet who lives in my town(I buy my hay from him) who breeds Harness racers. He has the GreatGrandma, the GrandMa, the Mom and the Baby(the baby is Jason Veritek LOL). He used a stud whose fee was almost $200,000. And he payed that 3 times!! I wish I had that much money! LOL

Aw, poor AP Indy! I remember when he was running. That's not attractive; he just looks like a lardbutt! Or as Raps' breeder said, "Fat hides a multitude of sins." Get that horse to a confessional....
