Strange greying patterns...

Okay, so we all know the typical greying patterns... head first, then back from there, or the whole body evenly greying... more or less anyways.

Do you have any pictures of, or know of a horse that didn't grey in one of those patterns? Just some oddball order of greying? I'll post mine in the morning, I'm headed to bed, but in the mean time, tell me about, or show me if you have pictures, the different patterns you've seen.

No, I'm just talking about your average grey horses as they get lighter and lighter.

LOL Yes I have those... In fact very few that I have owned have grayed face first... most of mine started on the back or rump and then the face...

This one went all at once so to speak... LOL The reason that many think it is face first is because they tend to shed winter hair there first...

Lol... Well here's mine I guess...

He started in the middle... Well, he was a bit 'even' at first, some white throughout most of his coat, but it pretty much started at his girth area. He's greying everywhere now, but his midsection is still the greyest... his butt and head being the darkest (and his legs... which aren't grey at all)

he's got a nice, white tummy
