To make the fender bender work even better, wet the fenders thoroughly where they are bent, and let the leather dry in the bent position. Use a little conditioner instead of water next tim you do it. You will need to bend them a few times, overnight or longer, to get them to stay all the time.

She has a non-leather saddle , wonder if the wetting would work on it too though.
I used to have friends that dunked their new saddles in warm bath water and then oiled them, but that just freaked me out!!! Kinda like buying new jeans and ripping the knees, you know. they said it worked wonders on comfort and clearin up squeaks though.

If her saddle is synthetic, then the fender bender won't work at all, water or not.

There are stirrup turners. chicksaddlery.com and statelinetack.com both carry different types.

Just to update you guys on the fender bender trick...it worked. I didn't know if a synthetic saddle would do it, but it did. I did not do anything to the saddle, just ran the handle through like sorrel said and presto...

so, thanks again sorrel for the help and everyone else too!!!!
