Stirrup Pad Measurements? Need some Help

I am trying to order some replacement pads for my regular fillis irons. But, they don't say anywhere on them what size they are, and I'm not sure where to measure them. Here's my illustration (mad Paint skillz):

Do I need to measure on the narrowest points or the wider ones to determine what size pads I need to order?

Thank you!!!

I'm not sure, but check your current pads or irons, they might say what size they are

it's the narrowest point that you want to measure.

I thought I had 4 3/4" stirrups, but when I got my new pads, I found out the stirrups were 4 1/2"! But with nippers, dh and I cut them down to size. And they look just fine - not even like they've been cut if you are careful and do it neatly. So even if you DO get the wrong size, there's a fix!
