Still searching for the perfect name for Rascal.
I am still trying to come up with a name for my OTTB gelding Rascal. I was waiting to locate his registered name to see if i liked it. It is La Maquina. Which is not bad but I don't like it for the hunter ring. I don't want anything that people will mispronounce. I have a dificult last name and i don't want a double mispronuniation. I have thought about:

Leap of Faith
Devil in Diguise
Not So Cliche

but i am not really in love with any of them. I am just not sure what to call him. Let me know what you would name him if you could choose any name. I am not attached to having Rascal in it either because I haven't found a name I love with that in it either. Here he is:

La Maquina means The Machine. I think that is cool for a racer but not really fitting for his new life as a Hunter/Jumper.

Smooth Sailing is such a nice name. I wish it fit him. He isn't quite smooth sailing these days. hahaha That would be a great name for my friends very mellow horse though. I will tell her.

Hmm, personally I like names that are something to do with their nicknames (usually the other way around though...a nickname as a shortened form of their long name), and names to go with their personality.

From your comment re Smooth Sailing, he sounds like Rascal is a good name for him!

Mischief Maker is cute. I don't want to use Sneaky anything because there is a mare on our farm called that and her baby is Sly so those names are out, as well as Clever who is another mare on the farm.
