STILL AVAILABLE! Barnsby Saddleseat Saddle and tack and attire For Sale

UPDATE- ok I finally got to the barn last night but duh forgot to grab a tape measure and couldn't get in the shop as I didn't have my key. I did look and yes it IS a Barnsby saddle. So I will get measurements tonight hopefully for everyone. And if the people interested change their mind the price goes up as I have been told by a tack person I should sell it for more as it is such a good quality saddle. But I am considering just leaving it especially if someone buys my saddle suit as I need the money. Ok done rambling

Ok the seat is a size 21 and the potential othert buyer backed out so it is still available.

Well I am no longer going to be doing saddleseat as Stormy is getting up there in years and none of my other horses are saddletype horses. So I figured I will put up my tack and attire for sale.

Make An Offer! All Offer Will Be Considered!

First off is my saddle and bridle. I forget the make but it is a high quality saddle. Its older though but very well taken care of. Its a light colored leather as well. Bridle has a red and white caveson set on it. I am asking $300 for the set (along with girth, leathers, and irons) or best offer.

Next I have my saddle suit. It is a hartmeyer suit, grey pinstripe. Has jacket, pants, vest, and hat. Was used for 3 years probably 4 times each year (didn't do a lot of saddleseat stuff lol). Will be fully dry cleaned before shipped. Pants I would say are a size 10 but can be taken in easily. This would sell for close to $500 new. I am willing to part with it for $300 or best offer. So make me an offer.

Here are pics. I will get pics of the saddle as well as the make of it tomorrow.

New Pictures of the saddlesuit (please ignore my fatness!) And yes we are required to wear helmets in all riding events in 4H in Indiana as of like.. 5 years or so ago. Thats why I have on the helmet.

He is an arab but the bridle was used on an Appaloosa before it was used on him. So it fits cob sized heads and horse sized heads.

I'd like to see pics of the saddle, as well as measurements. I assume it does not have adjustable bars?
I need one for my younger sister--I hope to start her soon. Maybe yours would work out.

Haha sorry, by bars I meant stirrup bars :-) I guess adjustable stirrup bars are a saddleseat thing. but they're a fairly new (and expensive) invention, not a lot of saddles have them. What it means is you can move the stirrup bars forward or back, depending on the rider's preference.

I assume it will fit pretty well--most of these do. She'd be riding my horse--a fat-ish Arabx. Or another horse we haven't bought yet. But it would most likely be an arab.

For pictures I would want to see from each side, and then also one of the underside (so lay the saddle upside down). And also of any maker's marks which might be on it (under the skirt by the stirrup bars, perhaps?)

Ok. When we bought it we didn't know anything about the brand but when I went down to hoosier horse fair with Stormy I did the saddleseat part of the judging contest as they never have enough people for the saddleseat part (judging teams from 4H go down and do a judging contest and people volunteer their horses that are already down there) anyhow one of the girls asked what kind of saddle I had and I was like no clue. So they looked and shes like oh wow thats a great kind! I wanna say... Barnsby? Not sure though

If it really is a barnsby, that's a great saddle.
