State of OK stuck with horses over slaughter ban

My husbands friend called and said he went to an horse auction in Tulsa OK and saw a paper on how the state of OK is stuck with he said 6000 head which mean probably 600

that were going to slaughter when the ban hit and they were asking for help and homes? Has anyone heard anything about this? Hes not a reliable source so I was wonder if anyone else has info?

Yeah thats my home town area well not far anyway!

It's not a far road trip for me! I'm gonna say 5 hours the most!

I can't seem to find any info. I think I'm going to call the Tulsa salebarn thats where the info was seen.
