State Fair results!

I have not been on here that much lately.. school has been pretty busy, and I am getting lessons several times a week now.. which leaves little time for the computer. But anyways, I just thought I would give a quick update on me and Country. We have a new trainer, and she has been so wonderful for the both of us. I have learned a ton from her in the short amount of time I have been with her. I really feel like I am actually getting somewhere with my riding now, and I feel so much more confident!

Anyways, State Fair was this weekend.. it went pretty well overall. I had two jumping classes on Friday morning. Country could not have been better.. we didn't place the best, but it really didn't matter because I was SO pleased with him. We ended up with a ninth in our first class, and we didn't place in our second because we got a pretty ugly distance, which was totally my fault..

Anyways, here are some pictures from my rounds.. the first picture is definitely my favorite..

And my equitation class was huge.. and it is definitely not my strong point, so no placing.. but Country was very good, so I was happy with him.

And last but not least.. I had my under saddle class this morning. I was nervous, because he was pretty tense in the warm up, but he worked himself out of it before his class, and he was incredible! I was so happy with him, we got an 8th place. (Ignore my bad hands in these pictures.. I am working on that

)

I also got to meet LacysMom and her daughters, they are both really great riders and the horses are both so cute! She should be very proud of them..

And very happy to be home with his buddies..

I just looked at the filmstrip and knew that was Country!
You both looked great, Jennifer, and you have every reason to be proud of that big handsome guy.
My family and I enjoyed meeting you. Sure hope we can cross paths again soon!

I think you lood pretty darn good in the jumping pics. It doesn't matter if you win, lose or draw you got out there and did it. Congrats.

YaY Jen!! You did so well and i am so glad country was a DREAM! He was so sweet the whole time...and I found out he dosen't like bird sounds while wiggling my fingers hahahahahaha.

Thanks for letting me crash in your hotel room!!

I seriously love those jumping pics!! I think they might be the best yet
