You know I saw a horse identical to that horse and they were selling it for $3500. If that's not screwed up, I don't know what is.

That's kind of weird. I hope it wasn't as skinny as Redi was when we got him....

Anywho. I just got pics from a friend of mine that came over. These are of Redi a few weeks ago. See any improvement?

Ignore Spirit's nose in this. He has to stick his big ol' jug head into everything.

The girl riding is my friend's daughter. That's Beau, my "crazy" Arab...until you put a beginner on his back. Then he's a sweet heart. Ignore the chick leading him. It's me. The guy leading Redi is my dad.

Oops.

I just noticed that I said these were taking a few weeks ago. It's closer to SIX weeks ago.

We've put him on Weight Builder now and you can't see his ribs, even when standing next to him. His spine isn't completely level, but my vet says that he doesn't look "thin" any more.

By the way, we galloped the clover leaf, Texas and Arena race Saturday. He already knew what to do and I just let him know when I wanted to turn by shifting my weight.

Weekend after next, we're taking him to a point show and we're going to let him strut his stuff.

Thanks so much. I'm going to try to get some pictures today and at the show this weekend. His spine has leveled out and if I glanced at him not knowing him, I wouldn't think he was under weight. He's definently my favorite horse to ride right now. He's so smoothe and has such a big personality.

Thanks. I took him to a lesson yesterday. It was my first time taking him.

My instructor is actually the guy that told us about him. He was trimming his hooves so he saw him every 2 months and each time he saw him, he was getting worse and worse until he got down to what you see when we got him.

He said that he's looking a LOT better. We worked on getting him to really focus on his turns around the barrels, poles and cones. Then we worked on his sliding stop. He did great. He threw one hissy fit which included popping up in the air but we solved it pretty fast.

I'll have pics this weekend!
