That's why I dropped him off of my list for potentials for my Oldenberg approved Mare--I couldn't find him on the Oldenberg list of approved stallions.

I would love to hear what the SO has to say....

His son, Chocolat, is a reg'd CWB.....?

Quote:
Chocolat is registered with Canadian Warmblood Horse Breeders Association. His foals can be registered with same.

I would very much rather not have to travel to Canada twice (once for Penny's approval, then for baby's registration) to get registration papers.

I'll post something on COTH.

I know that silly I was just saying that it also appears he is reg'd/approved Canadian too.

And regarding the Belgian WB, I don't think Penny is what they are looking for. I have seen an approved BWB and she was very compact and lacked the elegance Penny has, who has a compact body, but loooong legs.

From the BWB's I've seen, they seem to be coarser with thicker bone and in particular HUGE feet. However, I don't know if the Belgian Warmblood Assoc. or whatever the registry is is like the SWANA or KWPN....TB mares might not need to be approved for full registration of the foal. It would be worth a look for sure.

Did you call the SO?

I know Rose Sullivan. She is the worst "warmblood breeder and raiser" I have ever met. Two years ago I horse fell down into a gully on her property and required a helicopter to lift it out. She still hasn't fenced off the gully. She has two and three year old warmbloods still running around, not halter broken, because they still need to be "babies."

Worst off, she lives two houses down from me.

And thanks for e-mailing them.
