Stallions

I am going to breed my mare next year and hopefully get a 2006 baby.

What do you think of these stallions, and what you don't like about them.
I want to make sure to get a PERFECT stallion for my mare. All of these stallion are the type I want. I am just looking for conformation faults.

He is a nice guy, his neck does seem short.

Very nice.

What does your mare look like? What discipline are you breeding for? What type of attributes are important to you in a stud?

Well my preference out of these studs would be, in order as I like them:

Pass The Asset
Little Bay Starlight
Tivio Leo Reed
Sweet Talkin' Chip

I dont like Kid Classic Clu AT ALL, to me he's just not very good looking at all.

i didnt really like the looks of pass the asset, there is definitely something up with his neck.

I did love tivie leo reed and little bay starlight. the buckskin is cheapest though and he has good confo and if he threw that colour, VERY nice!

also, look at their website http://www.flyinghranch.com/stallions.htm and i just thought the buckskin and the white were BEAUTIFUL.

Here is my opinion....but this is what I like about a stallion....Im not sure what your mare looks like, or what you are looking for her foal to do, what will cross nicely with her, ect.

1. Little Bay Starlight- I love him....I love that he is a reining horse, I like his pedigree, and overall I think he is a pretty nice stallion.

2. - 3. In any order.....Kids Classic Style- I seen him and went...WOW!!! MASSIVE!!! He is just built big, built muscular, and if you are looking to add muscle ontop of muscle to your mares' foal...you just might get that with this stallion. AND/OR......Tivio Leo Reed- He doesnt have a horrible build....nice hip/butt.....

4. - 5. In any order....Sweet Talkin Chip AND/OR Pass the Asset

ok if you want a conformatinon foal heres where you should go: lets say your mare has like a tail set problem or something (im not saying she does) then you look for a stallion that has that thing that should improve the foals conformation.

The mare I am breeding to have no major conformation faults, she shown halter.
I am looking for an all around quarter horse, I do reining, halter showing, western pleasure. I am looking for a stallion with good conformation.

I am looking for something with build, muscles.
I really like

http://www.quarterhorsestallions.com/tivio_leo_reed.htm

and

http://www.quarterhorsestallions.co...y_starlight.htm

I am still looking for more stallions. I will get a picture of my mare soon.
My mare is used for reining and cutting. She have a lot of energy, so I would like to get a calmer stud. She is small for halter showing, so I like to get something stocky, and same height as my mare. Fancy is 16.1 hands
I already have a picture of her head.

every horse has some sort of conformation imperfection. Doesnt have to be a major fault - in fact if it was a major fault then hopefully you wouldnt breed from her at all, but there is always something that can be improved.
Little bay Starlight is the only one i would consider for any mare of mine. Nice looking little horse.
