i just wanted to throw something in here to make you happy lol!
my fillys sire was 28 when he bred my filly's dam and my filly is awsome!
the stallion is still breeding right now hes having his last foal crop at 30 but the owners aren't doing outside breeding anymore so that they don't get any contract problems
this is my baby at almost this may (shes 21 months)

Wow! The old boy's still got it, huh? That's pretty impressive!
Your filly looks like a real sweetheart!

I have stood older stallions for years, and I dont promote these stallions, if someone comes to me and wants to breed their mare, and the mare is something I would want my stallions name attached too, I would not be offended if they asked for a motility count, but I also wouldnt do it. I would be willing to work out a contract that only charged a reasonable nbr of days mare care even if it took double that amount of days to settle the mare. In all fairness there is no reason why a stallion owner shouldnt ask for an full internal repo exam, including bloodwork on every mare that comes in to be bred. It is a lot of work to breed outside mares and rarely worth the 500.00-1000.00 stud fee.
