| Senior Member | I used a spot on one time and put it just above the crop of the tail, behind the knee, and behind the hock. I even put a tiny bit on his rump area. Places that they cant reach. Depending on which one you use, it could be anywhere between 2 days to 2 weeks lasting time. You should consult the spot on directions or look the brand up on the internet if you don't have any directions. Good luck
