    Speed Event Classes?

    Can Anyone tell me what these classes are? We are having horse shows and I am looking for some classes that are differnt from the normal classes.

    Hairpin?
    Speed N Stop?
    Starlight Barrels?
    4 Corners?
    Jumping Figure Eight?
    Plug?
    LT Special?
    Scudda Ho?
    Homerun?

    I can't say that I know all of the games you've listed, but we wanted to change up some of our speed events this year too, and I found a bunch of very interesting options at http://www.cvsc.net/Patterns.html. Good luck and have fun.

    I can explain a couple!

    Jumping Figure Eight- first line is a jump, circles are barrels


    Plug Race- guessing it's just a speed dash where you run down around one barrel and back.

    LT Special



    Scudda Ho-weave poles, jump both jumps (usually second has some sort of shrubbery), weave barrels (make full circle around 2nd barrel), then go back over the jumps.

    Both are extremely fun to do!! We do them at our "fun days" and it's awesome! hehe. If you like speed and jumping, it is really fun to do. Though on the Scudda Ho, be REALLY careful not to get to close to the starting line. Happened to me and I had to take a no time. lol. Good luck!!

    Jumping Figure 8 is an event you see at ALL gaming shows on my circuit as is Plug...only we call it Speed Dash.
    Scudda Ho is found at a few, and LT Special is always at a 4H Gymkhana that I go to.
