Thanks, thanks, thanks ladies. *blushes profusely* I'll have to come back in summer time with more warning sometime and get some more shots. I have so many visions and not enough time. *sigh*

OOOOH I know what's coming and YAY!!!

Yup, she is a Sato daughter. Looks just like him doesn't she?

she sure does. i think Sato is my favorite current TB sire. love his substance, his lack of those frail little legs that are becoming so commonplace now. wish he was open to AQHA and APHA mares!

Ooooh ok. That makes more sense. I think he'd make a stellar sire of Appendixes.

Oh since you guessed I'm taking them back!! I never thought you'd remember that 2 minute conversation. I mean it was 2 minutes out of 2 days of yakking!

RyaneC... I do too. To this day selling that mare rates in the top two most stupid things I've done. I liked her then, I like her now and I hate where she's living. I had NO idea the type of home I sold her to. I'm weaning in a couple of days and it breaks my heart to send her home. She'll be skinny within a month and very unhappy being back to zero grass, individual turnout in a small paddock and a life totally unsuited to a herd animal.

i think he'd be a great cross on my mare that just delivered, she has some TB back on her pedigree with Goldseeker Bars. but i just dont know about going that route with her anymore. we shall see what the future holds.

SE - they wont let you buy her back?? so sad for her. at least she gets to live the god life when she's with you, and i'm sure she's grateful for that.

Yes she will. She said she wants 60K for her because of all the training she put into her. Training = pushing her so hard as a 2 yo she was totally sour and unrideable by 3. She must be scared of her because she always has a chain on her and is yanking away non stop. It took me 2 months just to get her to lower her head and stop doing giraffe imitations. I've never needed a chain on her, she's very low key and sweet.... *sigh*

I'd buy her back in a heartbeat if she was priced reasonably.
