Southern California Rescues/Sanctuaries

Hi ya'll, I am new to the forum and thought I'd introduce myself as well as hopefully get some information. My name is Danny, I recently moved down to Orange County, CA from Oregon to finish my BS degree. I've been trying to find a horse rescue/sanctuary that I could regularly volunteer at around my area. I live in Costa Mesa, central Orange County and realize that I may have to drive a ways to get out of the urban sprawl into more rural country. This is where I would very much appreciate you're help/input. I have found several rescues ranging from 50 minutes - 2 hours away. I'll include a list of the rescues I already know about, but if anyone knows any other rescues that may need help, please feel free to give me you're input. I would also appreciate you're feedback if anyone has first hand experience with any of the rescues in my area. Thanks!

Here is a list of Rescues I've found:
Lifesavers Wild Horse Rescue - Lancaster, CA 2 hrs away
Falcon Ridge Equine Rescue - Valley Creek, CA 1 hr 30min
United Pegasus Foundation - Arcadia, CA 1 hr
True Innocents Equine Rescue - Riverside, CA 50 min.

If you know of any other rescues in my area or have had first hand experience please feel free to post or message me privately. Thanks!!
