South Carolina newbie!

Hi everyone! My name is Kimberly. I'm 22 years old and from South Carolina. I have 2 paint yearling fillys (that are half sisters)that I enjoy spending my outdoor time with. Layla and Liberty (Libby)They are learning groundwork and gaining some respect from me. I've had them for about a month now. We hang out with a trainer on Sundays for a few hours. The girls are currently halter broke all but for being tied which we are working on that when my hitching post gets put up this week.

Besides working with my 2 painted girls, I am married to my highschool sweetheart. Been together 8 years married for 3. We have a beautiful little girl that is 2 years old named Kayleigh and she is so full of energy and keeps us going. I love my Cockerspaniel named Fancy.We live on 14 acres beside my parents. We have a 5 acre pond and it is absolutely beautiful out here(the horses and goats keep the grass down too!!). For a young married couple we have all that we can imagine at this time and I'm so happy with my life. I'm glad to have found a forum with intelligent horse people that can give me great advice. Hope to find good internet horse lovers here! And excuse the questions I might ask b/c I am a little new to horse training, not with horses,just with yearlings! but you gotta learn somehow right??!!

Welcome! I just moved from SC but I was in Charleston now i'm in GA! sounds like you are busy but happy! same here...we have some things in common hopefully you'll get to share pics soon
