OMG I just did the IP address look up thingy.... I cannot belive how much it knows!!!! It even has a map and pin points exactly where my house is!!!!!!!! Creepy!!! I am not liking that...

i suppose it could be coming fromwhere ever the cosest company building is? because it said i was in LA and i;m not, but the DSL building's there....

The IPs shown will often show the location of the ISP server and not always the exact address of the IP from a specific computer.

In Super Steps comment on the other thread though an IP in Texas will not show up as an IP in Michigan.
